Founded in 1905, Dalhousie's Agricultural Campus has come of age and stands at the threshold of a new era in agricultural education, training and research. The campus is home to the Faculty of Agriculture, which provides agricultural based Technical, Technology, Bachelor and Masters level programs. Recent improvements to the farm complex and research facilities now make it one of the most modern, best equipped university campuses in the Atlantic region.
The story of the Agricultural Campus is interwoven with the history and development of the agriculture industry of Nova Scotia and the Atlantic Provinces. The institution also figures prominently in the history of the Truro and Bible Hill area.
