School Overview

Campus Culture Community Outreach The city of Sitka, population 8,900, hosts the smallest of the three University of Alaska Southeast campuses. Due to its smaller size, the Sitka campus has strong connections within the community, including neighbors Mt. Edgecumbe High School and SEARHC Community Hospital. Distance Learning and Technology UAS Sitka has been recognized for its distance education since the early 1980s. As an active participant in the University of Alaska Learning Consortium (UALC), the Sitka campus is linked to many college campuses throughout Alaska.
